An online casino is a site where you play casino games for real money from a browser, on desktop or mobile. At Lunaris that means a lobby of more than 1,000 titles split into slots, live dealer tables, crash games and RNG table games, funded with cryptocurrency or a card, with bonus terms and contribution rates published up front.

What is an online casino?

An online casino delivers the same game types you would find on a casino floor, but the outcomes are produced by software or streamed from a studio rather than generated by machines in a room you walk into. Digital games use a random number generator, or RNG, to decide each spin, deal or spin of the wheel. The RNG produces thousands of numbers per second, and the one running at the moment you press the button decides the result. Every round is independent: previous outcomes do not influence the next one.

Each game also has a published RTP, short for return to player. RTP is the theoretical percentage of all wagers a game is expected to return across a very large number of rounds — a game with 96% RTP is designed to return roughly $96 for every $100 wagered over millions of spins. It is a long-run mathematical average, not a promise about your session. The remaining percentage is the house edge, which is how the casino covers its costs over time. You can read both figures on a game's info screen before you play.

What you can play at Lunaris

The Lunaris lobby is organised into four categories. Each one behaves differently, pays differently and clears bonus wagering at a different rate.

CategoryWhat it holdsLobby
SlotsVideo slots, classic slots, Megaways-style games and progressive jackpots/casino/slots
Live CasinoBlackjack, roulette and baccarat streamed from a studio with a human dealer/casino/live
CrashMultiplier games where you cash out before the round ends/casino/crash
Table GamesRNG blackjack, roulette, baccarat and video poker/casino/table-games

Slots are the largest part of the library and the simplest way in: pick a stake, spin, and the paytable tells you what each symbol combination is worth. Live Casino replaces software with a real dealer on camera, so rounds run at the pace of a physical table and several players can sit at the same one. Crash games are the shortest format on the site, typically resolving in seconds — a multiplier climbs and you decide when to collect, with three titles covered in detail in our crash FAQ: Top Eagle, Gift X and Space XY. Table Games give you the same blackjack and roulette rules as the live tables, but dealt by software, so a round finishes as soon as you finish it. Stake limits are set per game and shown on each title's info screen.

The studios behind the games

Lunaris works with established game studios rather than building titles in house. Official partner studios include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Betsoft, Evolution Gaming and BGaming. On the live side, Fresh Deck Studios and Visionary iGaming supply dealer-hosted tables. Caleta Gaming, Mancala Gaming and DRGT Gaming round out the slot and specialty catalogue.

Each studio has its own page with a description of what it makes and links into its games:

The full directory sits at /providers. One note worth knowing: some studios, including Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming, do not publish a universal policy on VPN use, so access to their games can depend on your location and the network you are connected through. Lunaris cannot guarantee access to those games over a VPN.

How results are decided

Digital games at Lunaris resolve through a random number generator, and the studio that built the game — not the casino — controls that software. Neither Lunaris nor a player can influence a spin once it starts, and raising your stake changes the size of a payout, not the odds of getting one. Many crypto-native titles go a step further with provably fair technology, which uses cryptographic algorithms to generate results you can verify yourself after a round has ended. It is an extra layer of transparency rather than a change to the maths, and not every game offers it. Our approach to game integrity is set out on the casino fairness and security page, and account and payment protections on crypto casino security.

How to start playing

  1. Create an account. Registration takes a few minutes and requires a valid email address. You must be 21 or over, or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction if that age is higher.
  2. Open the Cashier. Click the wallet icon with the plus symbol at the top right. You will find two tabs, Deposit and Payout, and four method groups: All Methods, Card, Crypto and Alternative.
  3. Deposit. Crypto deposits in BTC, ETH or LTC start at $20 with no maximum. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal deposits start at $50, with a ceiling set by your profile limits, which the Cashier shows you.
  4. Claim a bonus, if you want one. Bonuses are optional. The minimum qualifying deposit is $100 and the maximum bonus issued is $100. Read the terms before you accept.
  5. Pick a category and play. Head to the casino lobby or straight into slots, live tables, crash or table games.

For a crypto deposit, the Cashier generates a wallet address or QR code for you. A new address is generated for every transaction, so never reuse an old one, and always confirm you are sending on the correct network — funds sent on an incompatible network cannot be recovered. Deposits credit after two blockchain confirmations. If you use a VPN, disable it before you open the Cashier.

Before your first deposit

Card deposits may trigger KYC verification on the first transaction. Submitting documents takes around 15 minutes, and once you are verified the same method works in a few clicks. See /verification for the details.

Bonuses and how they apply

Lunaris runs a 400% Welcome Casino Match Bonus for new players, one use only, and reload bonuses of up to 200% for eligible returning players. There is also a 10% Rocket Cash offer. Not every player or deposit qualifies for every promotion — current offers live on /promotions.

Unless a promotion says otherwise, bonuses carry a 20x wagering requirement calculated on your deposit plus your bonus. Deposit $100, receive $100, and your balance of $200 multiplied by 20 gives $4,000 in wagers to place before a withdrawal can be approved. Bonuses are sticky by default, meaning the bonus amount itself is not withdrawable and is removed during withdrawal approval. Maximum win per bonus is $5,000 unless the promotion states otherwise.

Not every game clears wagering at the same speed. The contribution table is:

Game typeContribution
Non-progressive slots100%
Video poker20%
Blackjack (RNG variations)10%
Roulette10%
Live games1%

Two things follow from that table. First, slots are the practical way to clear a bonus. Second, Lunaris does not offer bonuses for Live Casino games at all, and live wagers contribute at 1%, so if live dealer tables are what you came for, playing with your own balance is usually the cleaner path. How casino bonuses work and wagering requirements walk through the arithmetic in more depth.

Withdrawals and verification

Withdrawals are requested from the Payout tab of the Cashier. New players may need to complete KYC verification before a first withdrawal is approved; in most cases that is done within 24 hours. Documents go to [email protected]. Every withdrawal is also subject to the daily, weekly and monthly limits on your account, which you can check in the Cashier at any time.

Lunaris offers Instant Crypto Payouts once per week for eligible VIP players, between Monday 00:01 PST and Sunday 23:59 PST. Eligibility and amount depend on your VIP level: Orbit Member up to $500, Starborn up to $1,000, Celestial up to $2,000 and Lunar Elite up to $3,000. Cadet accounts are not eligible until verification is complete. Submit the request through the Cashier, complete the email verification step, and approved payouts are typically processed within minutes. Full detail is on the casino payments and withdrawals page.

Play responsibly

Casino games are entertainment, and every outcome is random. RTP and house edge describe long-run averages across millions of rounds, not what will happen in your session, and no strategy changes the odds of a random result. Set a budget before you deposit, treat losses as the cost of playing, and never chase them.

You must be 21 or over, or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction if that age is higher, and it is your responsibility to confirm that online play is legal where you live. Contact support through /contact if you need help with your account.
