Real Dealers. Real Tables. Real Time.

Stream HD tables, chat with the dealer, and play blackjack, roulette and baccarat from anywhere.

The live casino guides explain how dealer-hosted games are produced and played. You can learn how a studio streams a physical table to your screen, how bets are placed and settled inside a betting window, how live blackjack, roulette and baccarat differ from their software versions, and which studios run the tables. The rules of each game are covered game by game.

What the live casino guides cover

What beginners should read first

Read what a live dealer casino is first. It answers the question most new players actually have — whether the video is real — and explains the production chain: a physical table in a studio, cameras and sensors, a video stream, and a betting interface that records your wager and settles it against what the cameras read.

Then read live casino vs RNG casino games. The useful takeaway is that the format changes the source of randomness, not the mathematics. A live European roulette wheel and a software European roulette wheel carry the same house edge on the same bet; the live version replaces a random number generator with a physical wheel and a dealer. Live tables also run at a fixed pace set by the dealer, which means fewer rounds per hour than a software table.

Finally, pick the game you plan to play and read its guide: live blackjack, live roulette or live baccarat. Each one covers the table rules that vary between studios, and those variations matter more than any betting pattern.

Core live casino terms

TermWhat it means
Betting windowThe countdown during which wagers can be placed on the next round
OCROptical character recognition — software that reads cards, chips and the wheel result
ShoeThe container holding the decks a dealer deals from
Side betAn optional extra wager, usually carrying a higher house edge than the main bet
CommissionThe percentage deducted from a winning banker bet in baccarat
SeatA reserved position at a table; unseated players can often still bet behind
House edgeThe long-run margin on each bet type — see house edge

Fuller definitions for these and for terms such as insurance, la partage and burn card are in the Lunaris casino glossary.

In short

Live tables change how the result is produced, not the odds. Read the specific table rules before you sit down — they vary by studio.

What a single live round looks like

Working through one round makes the format concrete. The dealer opens the betting window and a countdown appears — typically a short fixed period, set by the studio. You place chips on the layout during that window; once it closes, no further bets or changes are accepted for that round. The dealer then deals the cards or spins the wheel, cameras and optical recognition register the result, and the platform settles every open bet automatically against it. Winnings appear in your balance before the next betting window opens.

Two consequences follow from that rhythm. First, live tables run far fewer rounds per hour than software games, because the pace is set by a person rather than by how fast you can click; over an hour that usually means a smaller total amount staked at the same bet size. Second, a dropped connection does not void a bet already accepted — the round is settled by the studio regardless, and the result is waiting when you reconnect. Both points are covered in more detail in live casino vs RNG games and in the individual table guides.

From the guides to the tables

The live dealer lobby lists the tables currently streaming, with their bet limits shown before you join, and the wider game lobby covers slots and table games alongside them. If you want to know who runs a particular table, the software provider directory and the studio reviews above explain what each supplier offers. The live casino page is the commercial home for the dealer-hosted tables themselves.

One published Lunaris rule is worth knowing before you sit down: bonuses are not offered for live casino games, and on the bonus contribution table live games count at 1% toward wagering. In practice that means bonus funds are not a useful way to play live tables — the wagering requirements guide shows how the arithmetic works out. Live play is best treated as cash play. Deposits and withdrawals follow the standard cashier rules, including KYC before a first withdrawal, which is usually completed within 24 hours.
